Horizontal froth pump is mainly applied to deliver the slurries with froth such as flotation froth. The impeller is semi-open. To deliver froth slurry, this series use the impeller with huge inlet diameter.
The processing of the slurry may produce some suspended foam. For example, flotation in beneficiation produces foam. Ordinary mud pumps are not suitable for conveying foam with foam. With a special structural design, the foam pump is well adapted to the foam. It is actually a centrifugal pump.
