Wear-Resistant Slurry Pump and High Head

Wear-Resistant Slurry Pump and High Head are primarily used to transport solid and liquid mixtures and therefore need to be lined with wear and corrosion resistant materials to resist impact, abrasion and corrosion caused by the slurry.

According to the lining material, the mud pump is now mainly divided into two categories: one is gray cast iron, black cast iron or other wear-resistant alloy slurry pump; the other is wear-resistant rubber slurry pump with wear-resistant rubber gasket .

Advantages of the wear-resistant alloy slurry pump: The material of the alloy slurry pump impeller is hard. The impeller is not easily deformed at high speed, thus achieving high lift

Disadvantages: It is difficult to replace the wear-resistant metal.

Advantages of rubber slurry pump: good wear resistance, long service life, wide application, light weight and simple installation

Disadvantages: The rubber material is soft; the high speed may cause deformation, so the pump head is very low.

In summary, the rubber slurry pump has low lift and high wear resistance; alloy slurry pump, high lift, low wear resistance.
